Well, Saturday’s boat race that was held at Lake Claire turned out to be a great event.  We came strictly as a static display and to allow the public to become more familiar with the new truck. Thanks to those in Rescue who showed up and to the interested public who came out.

Huntington County Rescue held it’s 4th annual golf outing at the Clear Creek Golf Course.  With many teams entering the outing, great hole sponsors, combined with ideal weather, the outing was a great success!  Thanks to those who helped work the event, those who donated door prizes, those who sponsored holes, and to those who played.  We will see you next year.

In 2005, Huntington County Rescue was recognized as the “Volunteers of the Year” in Huntington County. Our services are 100% volunteer. We respond to over 100 page-outs a year, with about 60 of those involving patient entrapment and/or patient care.

Presenting the award to Huntington County Rescue is Red Cross Board of Director, Chris Newton.
